I always think weekends will be so hard not to drink, harder than any other day. But that is not true for me as I have woken up on a Monday or Tuesday with a major hangover. I don’t tend to drink more because it is the weekend. Everyday I seemed to have a reason to pound back the wine.
Been busy today and a day that I would have struggled through if hungover. However, it turned out to be a great day and I felt awesome despite not sleeping very well. Are any of you newly sober people dreaming a lot?

I remember the dreaming thing. I read that alcohol depletes B vitamins which are needed for dream recall which would explain the sudden ability to recall more when we stop chugging booze daily 🙂

Sounds like a good plan. I had some crazy dream recall this morning too and I thought of you – once I’d got past the bleary ‘huh! WTF?! that was weird’ stage…

Not sure if you follow me or not but if you don’t, you see that I fell off the wagon and am only just ready to share. When I was trying to encourage you I was doing it guiltily as I was drinking myself.
Don’t give up trying. If it is really affecting your life and happiness then try and try and keep trying.
